“I’ve been a member of Sacred Circles for many years. I have truly treasured the way that these small groups foster so many ways to get to know the others in the group – the confidentiality of what is shared makes it a safe space that, over time, has really helped me hear people’s stories. In regular Fellowship life, I have talked to many people- after a service, serving on a committee, at an event – but so much of what we share in those short time frames is more superficial, by its nature, as we don’t have time to really talk in depth. The Sacred Circle facilitators I’ve had (a few, over the years) are great at doing what they do- leading the discussions, encouraging the quiet people to speak up, guiding the conversations when topics are difficult or deeply personal, or fun and quirky.
