Join us for a fun weekend! Check-in to the campground opens at 2pm on Friday. We have a Community potluck on Saturday night that usually starts around 5pm. The rest of the meals are on a family basis. There are some great trails for hiking or mountain biking. The kids love the climbing tree. There will be skits, songs, and entertainment on Saturday evening. Come prepared with a song, a limerick or skit.
The altitude keeps the heat at bay, but it still can be hot in the sun, so bring your EZ-ups and water guns. We will have a portable misting device. There is drinking water at the campsite and pit toilets. If you don’t like to camp, come up on Saturday for the potluck and skits/songs.
Email outdooradventures@uufsd.org if you have questions or to get your name on the RSVP list. We will be asking every family to pay $30 for the site for the weekend. Please pay your host before you leave. Singles pay what you think is fair, and day trippers please kick in $5.00 each.
Directions
Drive south on Highway 79 for about 6 miles to the Sunrise Highway (SI) turnoff.
Distance to Laguna Mountain Recreation Area boundary is about 7.5 miles.
