SUMMARY:The Sacred Arts of Tibet Tour and Mandala
DESCRIPTION:The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Dieguito\, will ho
st the visiting monks of Gaden Shartse Norling Monastery who are guided by
the Dalai Lama. \n\nThe Sacred Arts of Tibet Tour seeks to share the trad
itional spiritual arts of Tibet with the world through the construction of

t a White Tara mandala\, a core practice of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition
\, throughout their stay. At the outer level\, the mandala represents the
world in divine form\, and at the inner level it represents a map that the
ordinary human mind can follow to achieve enlightenment. White Tara is co
nsidered the Mother of All Buddhas. She represents the energies of gracefu
l power\, compassion\, purity\, and long life. The White Tara empowerment
is meant to establish a close relationship between the recipient and these
