DESCRIPTION:Science in the Kitchen\, beginning with Sweet Talk\, is a two h
 our fun experience for young children and their parents. The event is loca
 ted in the UUFSD Kitchen.\n\n“What did Einstein Tell his Cook?” That i
 s an interesting question. Science Educator and author\, Louise Lin Garret
 t\, aka\, Dr. Flamingo\, will demonstrate with reliable witty explanations
  of scientific principles how modern gastronomical marvels are possible.\n
 \nNothing is more difficult to master in the world than science itself. Sc
 ience in the Kitchen\, explained by Dr. Flamingo\, creates in two hours a 
 synergy between food and science with easy to understand demonstrations an
 d explanations.\n\nAll you need to know about a molecule is what one of he
 r students told her\, “It is a teeny weeny thing that makes up everythin
 g and I have never seen one.” The two senses that are actual chemical in
  nature are smell and taste. So come prepared to have fun and experience s
 mell and taste along with the other senses.\n\nEvery third Saturday of the
  month at 9:30 til 11:30\, through the Summer and continuing into the Fall
 \, Dr. Flamingo will present a gastronomical phenomenal from salt\, chemic
