Some religions, like Judaism or Islam, see their God as singular, inseparable – “unitarian,” you might say. But other gods, like the Trinitarian god of the Christians or the Hindu god Shiva, have multiple manifestations or incarnations. This month we’ll be looking at those multifaceted gods to see what they tell us about the worldviews they come from – are their multiple aspects complementary, are they different aspects of the same thing, or are there other lessons we can learn from their coming together in one being? So bring your favorite multifarious god and we’ll forget that we’re Unitarians for one morning as we explore the inner diversity of god. Hosted by Robin Mitchell.
Please join us on Saturday, February 17, at 11 am in Founders Hall or online on Zoom. Email sacredtexts@uufsd.org to get on the mailing list for information and zoom details.
