A QUILT FOR UVALDE
Saturday, September 23rd 10 am – 12 p.m.
Encinitas Community Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive, Room 140 Encinitas, CA
In the wake of more mass shootings in the United States, San Diego artist Antonia
Davis created a quilting project as an act of healing, community and resistance.
A QUILT FOR UVALDE honors students and teachers murdered on May 24th, 2022.
You are invited to sew on this quilt in a supportive and healing environment using a simple
running stitch representing our flowing tears at yet another act of gun violence.
