GENEROSITY SUNDAY Sunday, November 21

LIVED EXPERIENCES’ “MOBILE LAUNDRY TRAILER,”

Oscarin Ortega, is the founder of Lived Experiences, in Oceanside. Lived Experiences is a grassroots 501(c)3 helping at-risk and disconnected youth in Oceanside, California overcome emotional and physical trauma. During the pandemic Oscarin volunteered with Humanity Showers and Feeding San Diego in three of the poorest LatinX neighborhoods in Oceanside. While working with Humanity Showers, Oscarin developed the idea of the “MOBILE LAUNDRY TRAILER,” as a place for homeless people to wash and dry their clothes. He succeeded in converting and retrofitting a small mobile home which is now serving the homeless population in the North Coastal area.
Please give generously to this project which delivers dignity to our homeless brothers and sisters. Make checks out to UUFSD with Generosity Sunday on memo line. Or donate on line at https://uufsd.com/online-giving-menu-3/
