 enges.\n\nCoronavirus and Climate:\nLessons Learned from a San Diego Persp
 ective\nThursday\, July 16th - 7:00 - 8:00 PM\n\nWhat lessons have we lear
 ned about our collaborative community response to the COVID crisis?  How d
 oes this contrast with regional climate action?  Are there opportunities t
 o build on partnerships recently forged?\n\nThis timely and important conv
 ersation will be led by Jo-Ann Julien\, BA\, MEd\, Health Planning and Pro
 gram Specialist for the County of San Diego\, and Erica M. Ferrer\, PhD ca
 ndidate and fellow in the Octavio Aburto lab at UCSD-Scripps Institution o
 f Oceanography\, Center for Marine Diversity and Conservation.\n\nJo-Ann w
 ill share her experience working with the County of San Diego Health and H
 uman Services Agency during the coronavirus pandemic. Erica will help us u
 nderstand broad and current issues in the ongoing struggle for socially ju
 st environmentalism and climate policy in the United States and abroad. A
