Camp de Benneville Pines Update
Thanks to all who joined the volunteer weekend in August. All the trails through camp were repaired and misc other projects completed achieving our most optimistic goal for the weekend. Great work. The really good news is that camp is reopening in September with Art Camp and several other planned events.
A volunteer weekend is being planned for Sept 17th thru 19th. The focus of the work will be to continue trimming trees 200 ft from camp for fire mitigation. Camp fire insurance has increased by more that 5 fold in the last year. The level of mitigation will meet insurance requirements and allow reduction in our premiums.
Camp is open and will provide cabins and food service for the weekend. If you can help contact Chris Faller cfaller5@gmail.com.
