DESCRIPTION:Our very own Victor Seguritan will share his professional exper
 tise about the promise and problems with Artificial Intelligence. Enjoy th
 e discussion and light lunch.\n\nFrom Victor: I am a computational biologi
 st by training and have used AI professionally for over a decade in variou
 s industries such as finance\, genomics\, and medicine. As a data scientis
 t\, I’ve trained chatbots for document prediction tasks and created mach
 ine learning models to predict fraud. Current chatbot architectures are es
 sentially deep neural networks that were originally intended for human dis
 course. These architectures are also known as Large Language Models or LLM
 s.  For this “Lunch & Learn”\, we will explore the basic guts of an ar
 tificial neural network\, the basic architecture of a chatbot or LLM\, the
  accuracies of chatbots\, and the resources used to train these computatio
 nally expensive models. Our goal is to understand the strengths and limita
 tions of LLMs in order to better compare them to our own biological neural
