American Indian Educational Talks & Documentaries Project invites you to bring in the new year with a new exploration … Let the Tribal Rebels Yell! – A conversation around the MTV video documentary, “Rebel Music: Native America.” In 2014, MTV New York/England took a bold approach to documenting youth resistance forces around the world. When it came to North America, MTV reached out to young, up-and-coming Native artists, musicians, and activists. These collected voices became a Native megaphone for issues facing Native communities across North America at that time (and still linger today).
