First Church is hosting the following: Lead Minister, Rev Justine Sullivan, and Director of Lifespan Faith Formation, Tony Bianca, will share their thoughts and engage in a conversation with each other and attendees about the proposed revision of Article II.
While there is much to discuss around the process of revising and voting on Article II, this evening will focus on the philosophical and theological content of the document. What is central to our understanding of ourselves as a non-credal community of faith? How do we describe who we are and what we believe to the world at large? What does it mean to be a “living tradition”? We’ll address these questions and more in this evening of questions and conversation.
