Laura Sandage, beloved UU musician from Davis,CA, will be leading a creative group workshop at UUFSD on April 20 & 21. Using music, spoken word, and movement, workshop participants will create a concert to be shared with the wider community on Saturday evening April 21, 2018 from 7:00-8:30 PM. Laura plays guitar, percussion, and string bass, and has performed as a soloist and in award-winning ensembles, including the Vocal Art Ensemble and the acoustic trio Mudlark. She directed both the Free Range Singers and the UU Sparks Choir in Davis. In addition to raising a family and teaching singing to people from the age of 2 to 70+ years, Laura has also produced several CDs and is a published poet and prize-winning songwriter.
